Purpose: To provide a new student a head-start and a financial boost in their new career choice.
Qualifications: The Aviation Institute of Maintenance Scholarship is open to anyone within Hampton Roads, VA. Applicant must be a new student, 18 years or older. Five recipients will be awarded a $2500 scholarship.
Amount: Each scholarship awarded will be in the amount of $2500 to FIVE students.
Deadline: The online application form will open from October 1, 2021 - October 31, 2021. Applicants submit the online scholarship application through the Tracey Lynn Foundation website.
Notification: All winners will be notified in November 2021 and we will give you 12 months to start your training and utilize the scholarship. The Scholarship is only available to new students. Recipients will be notified via email or postal mail.
Requirements:
- Applicants must write a 250-word essay on the following subject: Why you are pursuing an Aviation Maintenance career and why you chose a trade school over a 4-year college.
- Must upload/send a photo or video to TraceyLynnFoundation@gmail.com
Note: The application must be submitted online, and will automatically close after the deadline of October 31, 2021.
